Emerging Markets On Radar Of Indian Outsourcing Sector
Business from emerging markets will help flagship information technology sector of India to counter slowing demand in Western nations, the country’s technology minister said on Tuesday.
At the start of the three-day conference, Information Technology Minister Kapil Sibal said solutions “will come from IT growth in emerging markets.”
However, India’s IT lobby group National Association of Software and Services Companies, or Nasscom, said IT export revenues of the country will slow in the next financial year due to “global uncertainty.” “The industry is still very resilient and able to cope with the current economic problems,” Nasscom chairman Rajendra Pawar told the conference.
